Saturday Morning

Saturday morning began with a continental breakfast, followed by the morning session. Our assigned table configurations were "Mixed Group" - a random arrangement. We learned soon enough that we were at tables with other sisters who shared the same or similar first names!

• We began with a beautiful prayer ritual in which we were visited by St. Dominic and St. Catherine of Siena.
• At our "mixed group" tables, we considered the four options for reconfiguration, which we had been mailed previously. A facilitator led the discussions and recorded the work of the table. We were given three questions to guide our discussions:
  1) How might this option enhance our Dominican life and mission?
  2) Are there additional strengths, limitations for this option?
  3) Are there any changes you would suggest?
• After our table discussions, some tables shared their responses with the larger group.
• We adjourned for lunch at around noon. During lunch time, a group of compilers worked to synthesize what was said at the tables, for distribution on Sunday.
