  Cycle 7

The Cluster Coordinating Committee created a structure of process cycles to facilitate discernment. These cycles were designed to include time for personal and communal reflection and prayer and allowed time for the process to be guided by the unfolding of the Spirit within the individuals and groups. The Sisters are currently in the Seventh continue to discern whether their congregations should be part of the ultimate reconfiguration.

Integral to this discernment process, as with all discernment processes, is the invitation for each individual:

  • To enter into a prayerful, reflective process with a heart free and open to God's will
  • To trust in God's spirit present in oneself and others
  • To gather the information needed to discern
  • To study and sift the information discovering implications
  • To make a decision based on Dominican mission and values

The discernment process has tried to encourage maximum participation sp that each member can feel a sense of ownership of the decision.

The seven process cycles began in Fall 2003 and Winter 2004, and are structured along a timeline that culminates in 2007. For information on each of these process cycles, click on the options to the left.
