Cycle Two
Inter-Congregational Gatherings
September 2004

The second discernment cycle took place in September 2004, and consisted of inter-congregational gatherings in two different sites (Columbus and New Orleans). These gatherings represent the first time the Cluster communities gathered together for discernment.

Purposes:
• to become acquainted with members from the sister congregations
• to rejoice in the sacred stories of each congregation
• to receive and reflect upon pertinent information from sub-groups within the discernment process (e.g., Communications, Documents, etc.)
• to begin to dream some possibilities for reconfiguration

Between the second and third cycles, the responses from members were studied by the CCC and appropriate working groups.
